Stephen D. Duncan (“Duncan”) focuses his practice on civil litigation, municipal law, real estate matters and business law.

Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, Duncan graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Political Science and a minor in History.  After spending several years working at restaurants to pay off his student loans, Duncan moved to Centre County in 2017 to attend Penn State Law.

While in law school, Duncan participated in Penn State’s “Street Law” program, where he helped to teach students in the Bellefonte Area School District about different areas of law.  Duncan also served as a judicial extern with the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, where he developed a passion for legal research and writing.

Prior to joining Miller, Kistler, and Campbell, Duncan worked as a Law Clerk with the Centre County Court of Common Pleas.  There, he gained a wealth of knowledge on a wide variety of legal topics such as tax assessments, landlord/tenant issues, estate administration, and criminal procedure.
