Richard “Dick” L. Campbell focuses his practice on estate planning, real estate matters, business transactions, and estate administration. He brings decades of experience to all aspects of transactional law, real estate transfers, and trust and estate matters.

A native of Centre County, Dick attended the Pennsylvania State University, where he was an active member of the varsity wrestling squad, and the Dickinson College of Law prior to joining Miller, Kistler & Campbell in 1966. Since that time, Dick has successfully served as Centre County’s first assistant district attorney; he has argued cases before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and he has represented municipal entities throughout the central Pennsylvania region. Throughout his more than forty-five years of practicing law, Dick has proven instrumental in the formation of important public entities like the University Area Joint Authority, and he has acted as the settlement agent for more than 1,000 real estate closings. He brings equal experience to personal estate matters, having assisted with the administration of hundreds of individuals’ estates.

Dick is an instrumental figure in the local community. Among his other activities, Dick has provided pro bono advice to the Juniata Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America for more than fifty years, and he has been a longtime board member of the Centre Foundation, an organization founded by his father.
